How to Convert TXT to EPUB Online
This guide explains how to convert TXT or plain text to EPUB3 online without uploading the source file. The converter runs locally in your browser and supports individual files, batches, and folders.

- Choose Auto, UTF-8, or GB18030 under Text encoding.
- Choose whether two or three consecutive line breaks should start a new chapter.
- Download one EPUB, or download a ZIP containing one EPUB per source file for a batch or folder.
- Open a sample EPUB in your target reader and check its text, chapters, and table of contents.
Fix Garbled Text with UTF-8 or GB18030
Auto tries strict UTF-8 first and falls back to GB18030. UTF-8 is the best choice for most modern text files. If older Chinese text is garbled, choose GB18030 and convert it again. The converter does not expose other encodings; if neither option reads the source correctly, resave the TXT as UTF-8 in a text editor before converting it.
Split Long Text into EPUB Chapters
The chapter setting treats either two or three consecutive line breaks as a boundary. Each non-empty section becomes an EPUB chapter and table-of-contents entry. Choose the three-line option when ordinary paragraph gaps use two line breaks; choose the two-line option only when every blank-line break is intended to start a chapter.
Batch and Folder Conversion
Selecting multiple files or a folder creates one EPUB per TXT source and packages successful conversions in a ZIP download. Titles come from file names, while folder paths help keep duplicate names distinct. Test one file before a large batch so the same encoding and chapter rule suit the full set.
